Experience

[1]
  • USC Marshall — Finance & Business Economics Nov 2025 – Present
Research Assistant to Professor Rodney Ramcharan
    What I did
    • Built a Python ETL pipeline — regex and NLP parsing of OCR text on AWS SageMaker — that expanded the search universe to 1.3M+ ProQuest TDM Studio newspaper records and processed 500K+ documents in the latest extraction run into 887K structured rows of advertised bank rates, products and terms.
    • Designed a rule-based confidence-scoring and audit-flag system with LLM-assisted document verification to isolate research-grade observations — 35K+ matching-ready and 14K+ analysis-ready offers — preserving source-text snippets so every row can be checked by hand.
    • Rebuilt the search queries around period advertising language, increasing 1950–1980 coverage by 152% (248K to 625K rate observations).
    • Deliver written reports and statistical summaries to faculty each research cycle.

Method and scale only. No dataset, findings or sample rows are published pending the principal investigator's clearance.

  • Voglio Nov 2025 – Present
Core Team — Growth & Strategy
    What I did
    • Built the company's 3-year pro forma model in Excel — linked revenue, CAC, COGS and P&L schedules — projecting $4.4M of Year-3 revenue across subscription and venue-advertising streams, supporting a $325K seed raise.
    • Modelled unit economics — CAC, LTV, churn and app-store fee impact — and market sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM) underpinning the investor deck.
    • Led a 3-person team through a VC-style pitch, assigning workstreams across product, market and financials; advanced past the first round of USC's New Venture Seed Competition.
    • Co-led three international marketing campaigns across European cities, including experiential activations, and recruited and onboarded two interns.

Figures published with the company's consent. The $4.4M figure is a projection prepared for a private fundraise, not realised revenue.

  • Brave — early-stage consumer startup May 2025 – Sep 2025
    Marketing & Outreach Intern
    What I did
    • Built and maintained the outreach database and wrote an automation script that generated personalised messages from it, contacting 550+ influencers, engineers and partner organisations.
    • Sourced and screened the founding technical team, including two CTO-level engineers; organised partner calls and closed one influencer partnership.
    • Built partnerships with university IT clubs and student networks.

Internal growth multiples from this role are omitted: they were self-reported by a private company with no external source.

  • USC Global Investment Society Sep 2024 – Present
    Member — Investment Academy
    What I did
    • Investment Academy, Feb–Jun 2025: led a 4-member team pitching Overweight on Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), building a 10-year DCF with a WACC build, perpetuity-growth and exit-multiple terminal values and sensitivity analysis, alongside an EV/Revenue and P/E comparable companies analysis.
    • Analysed six years of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow performance via Capital IQ to underpin the investment thesis.
    • Explore Program, Sep 2024 – Jan 2025.

Work

[2]

Each page states its question, method, assumptions, data source and as-of date, and ends with what I would do differently. Valuation work is an academic exercise, not investment advice.
